Field Hockey

          Field hockey is a very popular sport played widely across the world. Actually, it is the second largest team played sport in over 100 countries. Field hockey reached its modern form in the 19th century. It is a game with two teams and 11 players each, playing on a normal 100 yard by 60 yard field. Each player uses a stick with a rounded head ranging between 28-39 inches long and a ball that has a circumference of 23 cm. Field hockey is played in lots of schools and gives players, administrators,and officials many sporting and social opportunities for life.
